Idea+ology is a boutique design agency that required a professional and polished brand to reflect the strategic level of the business. After several years of growth and professional development, and with global competitors entering the fray, it became critical for Idea+ology to up the ante on the way they presented themselves to market.
A simple, monochromatic and typographic look was devised and then carried throughout the website with colour being reserved for use only in the portfolio section. The brand mark is confident and contemporary, and elegantly provides a conceptual hook that literally connects the identity to the client’s business name. A similarly refined approach was taken with the brochure which utilises interesting black and white abstract photography and bold typographic statements. The simple black and white colour palette sits alongside gold foil finishes, grid-based layouts next to centre-aligned text, sans-serif logotype by serif contact information and areas of un-printed space. The finished design clearly demonstrates the essence of absolute clarity, a mantra which the brand lives by.
